Here’s the human behind Daring Next.

Cartoon woman with brown hair, glasses, blue eyes, wearing earrings and blue blouse, working on a laptop.

Kia ora, I’m Dallas, creator of Daring Next.

I live in a tiny rural town in Aotearoa New Zealand, where my best ideas tend to arrive somewhere between muddy farm paddocks and two very happy dogs. I love learning because doing a great job (and avoiding “just good enough”) has always been my north star.

I’ve worked across many industries in almost every flavour of office support role you can imagine, and one thing never changes: I’m at my best when I’m problem-solving. Give me a messy workflow, a missing file, or a process everyone insists “already works fine,” and I’ll find a way to make it sharper, smoother, and smarter. Organisation isn’t just what I do, it’s how I see the world.

That’s exactly what pulled me towards AI and automation. Not as a shiny new trend, but as a toolkit for working better, ditching overwhelm, and opening doors we didn’t even know were there.

Daring Next is where I share that journey, not just my experiments and lessons, but a space for administrators and behind-the-scenes pros to feel supported, curious, and ready to reinvent how they work.

Because the future doesn’t belong to the people who shrug and say “good enough.” It belongs to the ones who roll up their sleeves and make it better.
